No Limits
Space staging
Hermannplatz, the busy underground station, is a maze-like entanglement of pathways. Through this installation, the viewer experiences a kaleidoscopic view of the chaotic scene. This highlystylized experience is delivered via the medium of film. By reducing the hubbub to a single person, it receives a separate emphasis. A traveller seems to be in an endless system of interwoven escalators. The projection, on a three-dimensional object, creates a visual of an impossible staircase that blurs the both time and space.
